Considering the entire story of injustice went through many rewrites by the DC writers and DC also published the Injustice storyline as comics. Yeah, it could be taken as an example. Additionally, while the story isn't cannon it is a part of the DC multi-verse.
I've got some ideas scribbled down, a slide cannon was one of them! as well as a swing grappling hook thing and various other nonsense. if all goes according to plan, i'll have a more solidified concept posted this evening
Yeah, I second what Predator said. Pretty much every part there could be optimized. Even the cannons shooting out of the skull's mouth has loops that could easily be removed. Great design though, wanna see it textured. :D
"The president's cannons" - The Spanish guy from RE4 Well, I suppose it wouldn't be a RE game without a damsel that makes princess peach look competent. At least in RE4 you could put Ashley in the suit of armour and forget about her.
Much better :) Maybe try to find a way to make it clearer where the hatch comes off? That could be a color thing tough. One thing that bothers me are the cannons. They just kinda stick out. Maybe they could be mounted in a different way?
well I cannot offer advice, I'm an "evil" outsourcer. Apart from the fact that you cannot fight globalisation, I don't see us stealing jobs. Without us some games wouldn't be made at all. So we might create 60 jobs in China, but also 20 in the US, which wouldn't be there if there were no means to make the game at all…
really nice, the tire materials look great. @Ripper351, i think the belt he was going for is more like a rigid channel for feeding an anmunition belt like you linked to. Much like the vulcan cannon. I think it looks spot on.
I like it. Definitely agree that the textures could use some more love. The lighting is ok, some parts of it look really good but the blowout on the cannon ports and then exit is pretty strong and kind of distracts you from looking for the rest of the scene.
ya you want the content to catch the eye, good example is Predator site when i look at it, that RA flak cannon catches my eye before i notice anything about the site design. Nice HP work btw
It would be very rare in a AAA studio for an environment artist to make weapons, with the exception of very large items like cannons or catapults. But if you have all the skills required to make environment props, there's no reason you wouldn't be able to make a decent weapon.
