Overall I'd say it's solid work, but not astounding. First off, I'd ditch the blog format and code your own super simple site - it's really not that hard. Small thumbs in a huge vertical column is a bit daunting. Perhaps break assets out into pages? Like put all of your Red Dead stuff on one page, etc? Something to think… -

I've simplified the concept because I don't understand the code at a super low level. It's still the same object during the whole process. Polygon models have indices of verts, edges, faces and so on, each component has an ID number and a value (and secondary values, like vertex color or skin weights). The history nodes… -

I'll show you what I'm doing specifically: basically I placed all my modular pieces in editor before I did any uvs or lightmaps. Thanks mate. I wasted a loooot of time screwing around with the topology before I really needed to - something that was an endless fidgeting session because of the round shapes and joints needed for the organic structure. Having said that, Blender's sculpting tools really aren't too bad! Hmm yeah I can see what you mean.… -

Alec - I love the look of that thick, clean desk, but is the whole setup really confortable ? I mean, the keyboard tray seems to be right where your knees would be, and the sturdy stand for the monitors seems very likely to restrict the movements of your chair and legs ... I like it =) Crits: - The corners on the door arch are too sharp, beveling them won't really up the poly count that much but it will help the sharpness.
