Any of y'all have an 8-core PC, or quad-core-with-hyperthreading? I plan to add 8-core support pretty soon, and I seek guinea pigs to help test it! (I only have two cores over here. And a ball-mouse. And a pet dinosaur.) -

It might not matter terribly once the textures are applied but the normal map banding is obvious at the moment, did you bake that sucker in 8bit? 16bit might be better for portfolio purposes (or 8 bit dithered for viewer... actually, I wonder if it reduced to 8 bit on export...) -

you should hook your gloss into the alpha channel of a linear interpolate node, with a low value of 8 and a high value of 256. your node should look like this: a: 8 (constant) b: 256 (constant) alpha : glossmap plug that into your spec power. -

heh nice. Now when you say "a day each" do you mean 8 hours of work, 8 hours working with a lunch break, coffee break, stretch break, IM break, etc, or one of those 20hr long crunch days? -

I think you could rig the flick system with a custom shortcut "ctrl+c,v" you can have up to 8 flicks (8 way) I have a logitec G13 gameboard thing, yet to use it... I find the windows onscreen keyboard ok enough. -

I did try setting it to my monitor profile, but still seemed to be off. Will try getting screen grabs of my settings, see if anyone can see anything thats off. I seem to remember it saying rgb/8 at the top, would it hell to be higher than 8? -

a friend of mine at work (r4ptur3) gave me great advice to enlarge the shot gun to be more inline with the fact that this kid is only 8 or 9 years old and a double barrel shotgun would be huge in the hands of an 8 year old. I also enlarged the canteen for the same reasons. -
