One thing I don't like is that image sets are not clumped together. On http://www.texturepilot.com/textures/63/Floor for instance, the first 14 images are nearly the same. This means that when I'm browsing, I have to click through many more pages. It's a pretty nice alternative, though, so good going for you. -

I've got a Bamboo (9x6 I think) in my Amazon shopping cart for 63 bucks. It's about what I'm willing to spend (since the Intuos appears to run 4 times that). If that's a good place to start, I'm going for it. -

Maybe we haven't got a an adequate representation of the users here, but I'm quite suprised by how far ahead Max is, particularly over Maya. It was always going to come out in front, but 63% vs 18% is a huge margin. -

you're not kidding, 63 punds with the stand, so im not sure what it is without, if anyone had tried mounting it, or built one for themselves. a quick Google didn't lead to anything useful, so i was kind of hoping maybe someone built one i could mimic or purchase. i think you may be right though.
