Whatever you do, don't forget to include the Leaf Village emblem somewhere. On your concept sheet you have it on her fists but its not showing anywhere on your model/texture yet.
I havent really used it in max, but MR AO has an 'include/exclude object id' setting, giving your floaters an ID and setting the shader to ignore them should fix the problem.

At the end of the they, it's the employer who has the money. And they chose who they want to pay on their terms. It's up to you to like their rules or not. And that basically includes every second job you find anywhere. It's still their investment.
Yeah you could def put those planks in the normal map. As for AO, i've heard people tell me that nothing can be overlapping, including geometry? dunno if you tried that yet or not.
Yeah, I don't really get why body armour is included in the list. It's not like you can choose different types. I guess they just want people to use it less in general.
Here's some more bits I've made for this level. It's a set of vine covered stone pillars and trims including some broken sections. I may rework the sunburst motif on the crosspiece later...
Best use of polys evah. First model ever, from Mar '99. Sitting at 866 tris (polychop modifier on top not included) And I still texture nothing because I rule.
