Hi, I am having a hard time figuring out why I cant get correct reflections in my scene. I have 3 env probes placed and each are box projected. I read that the dimensions of the box should be half of the room,, I have done this. I also tried to minimize the env probe radii from overlapping. Any ideas?
Again- .Env files are NOT only for envelopes. They store per-vertex weights if the vertex has been hand-weighted at all. I don't use envelopes either- .env files save vertex weights. I wouldn't be surprised if skin or die uses Max's save and load .env functionality but just wraps it into its interface.
world builder and env artist are same thing for us. If it has to do with the visual asthetics of the environment, env artist does it. Size of area plays no difference. so.. you mean the env guys do props? or an environment with models that can't excede 1k polys each? I might be dumb, but a bit of clarification might be nice for any env guys giving it a shot. :)
