From time to time, 3D0 wont properly read the specular info from Photoshop. I can push hotkey 2 in 3D0 and it does indeed show the correct specular info, but when I go back into shaded mode, specularity is completely hosed. It seems to default to some grey value for the entire object. I hope this is on your shortlist to… -

Yes i model the downward extrusions pointing outwards a bit on purpose (even tho it's not like that in the refs) so that when i bake normal maps it catches more depth info. In Blender it's easy to model it like that to begin with since you can model with a line and then fill in the polygons. What you could do instead is… -

So you're trying to match a camera to a image? Camera Match in max is your best option but it only works on uncropped images and will never work with hand drawn concept art. You can look it up in the help file and it has some detailed info along with how to use it. I'm sure google has more info on it too.… -
