flagrant cross post: http://www.polycount.com/forum/showthread.php?t=94387&page=4 It's a bit slow since I am rammed at work at the moment, but be sure I have not forgotten nor backed down from the challenge! Have at ye, work!
A revolver/energy gun for my character I've been working on. It has about 3.8k tris, and 4 512x512 maps(diffuse/normal/spec-gloss/anisotropic direction). Still need to work on the scratches, and tweak the spec map. Also it's rendered in marmoset.
Ruz, the fact looks about a billion tims better than the last time I saw him. but yeah he looks bso much shorter :( very odd. That first pic looks about 4 foot lol for such an amazinf model! FOV Maybe?
Raven: Nice! There is something with the proportions of the beast that I dont like, maybe its the fact its too much alike a human being in 4 legs? dunno. Other than that, pretty sweet! Biofrost: That is looking super sweet. Cant wait for the final thing!
http://www.youtube.com/embed/IGoMjNtnJv0 made a cutscene for the new TOB soundtrack stuff- we've only got 4 days to go and half of our target to make so if anyone has the money to throw at a dedicated team, we'd appreciate it! http://kck.st/Oe8oHg
A scene i've worked on for about 4 days. The info is in the scene on what I need to do, let me know what you think so far. Video here http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=wn_mGzfheqQ and here is a link to my progress jolly3dgiant.blogspot.com
That maille would literally fall apart. Also, you don't start maille with a "chain" like you did. So I guess the maille was NOT "easy to make". THIS is how you make maille (especially 4 in 1, the classic style): http://seahamcastle.com/index.php?p=1_14
Churned out the low-poly and texture for the Creeper I was working on, shown here in Marmoset. It's 2,800 tris or there-abouts, and bugger all verts, like 1,400 or something, and 4 UV islands. Also made this little tribute to my favourite video game of all time <3
cR45h: very clean model, well done. stefanobernardi: that first render looks sick, the specular value's are just spot on! good job just did a 4 hour sculpt session, tried to make my surface as smooth as possible but i'm a bit less satisfied with the design...
