@eld - I've been stalking that project of yours on twitter, I wanna play it! @mask - sweet paintover @jackwhat - that painting makes me moist. @nizza_waaarg - nice bust, it's really believable and contains your style. its all wip
Cause I haven't done any character work in ages, and I don't think I've posted any work in longer than that. Did a bust today, trying to get back into the swing of sculpting. It's been way too long...
Ok guys here is a quick update, still a bit aways to go to get this thing ready for graduation. I had to bust out this pocket area in a week essentially. Needs tons of love on the chair and couch. Deff a WIP Crit it as you will!
Had finished my Brink bust I was working on a while ago never remembered to post the finished image. Want to keep working on it but at the same time I must move on. Thank you to all who helped critique it when I was working on it.
@dannedadon - nice textures on those heads @PogoP - I really like that hallway, it's got some personality! I wrapped this up today, thanks for the feedback! Now back to work on my plague doctor. (theres more views of the bust on my site :) )
Eoq- I was hoping I'd see more work on this. Virtuisic- Seriously, the scale you have going on is beutiful. ErichWK- Damn fine job, but I thought things were going to stay cleaner, like a prototype. Finishing up my Nefertiti bust.
Very nice work tacit & fatcap, thats bad ass. Tacit, I immediately thought welder before I even looked at what you wrote. Just "finished" this bust of an old guy. Happy to hear feedback while its still fresh.
here's some things i've been busting out in the last week or two. An old oil lantern for my 3D class my best figure drawing thus far, from some life drawing and a master copy, done in oils, of a piece done by John Singer Sargent
http://s3.photobucket.com/albums/y90/arriev/?action=view¤t=monsta2.mp4 my zbrush mutant bust rotation apparently photobucket has pretty fast video upload/conversion . ps: ( still image here http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y90/arriev/alienbust.jpg )
Looks cool, I'd keep a couple things in mind though, the grates on the ceiling feel a little too low poly, the bust light columns look nice. That trim pattern doesn't quite feel natural yet, it's a little too perfect, I'd try to break up the perfection of it a little.
