@RN Awesome find. I don't suppose this code is somewhere in my Blender root file directory, and I just need to replace that MIDDLEMOUSE with my preferred key, is it.....?
Sharing my latest finished #blender Project, "Scout Drone". Its a reference from Roc H's concept art, You can find more renders at: luischerub.com Enjoy!
Hi, Still finding my way around Blender. I can't seem to find any AA filters, coming from V-Ray I'm expecting to see a few, i.e. Quadratic, Mitchell-Natravali, etc.... I did see in the 2.79 docs (https://docs.blender.org/manual/en/2.79/render/blender_render/settings/antialiasing.html) that they were available for that…
yep, default blender adds everything without modifier, but the maya preset doesnt do this couldnt find the right combination either, maybe the function just doesnt exist in this preset ?
Is that some reverse psychology I detect; to get the Blender haters to come to this thread so they can find out how awesome it is? Beatlegeuse is the ghost with the most! Beatlegeuse! Beatlegeuse! Beatlegeuse!
I'm i'm glad i dont' find a way to change the select setings ; blender don't work like max, i'm think it's possible to change the select behavior with an addons.
@pior I definitely remember seeing it but I don't remember what it is, I was thinking hardops ,meshmachine or one of these but I can't find it in the wiki and I don't own them so...
I find it amazingly hard to ever export anything out of Blender without it breaking anything. My new workflow is just import it into my student version of max and do it that way
Set object shading to smooth, set autosmooth to the highest value, and mark edges as sharp in the edge menu. That's it :) (not saying that it is easy to find or intuitive - but once you know about it, it's pretty straightforward.)
@wilson66 If you mean the new face sets feature then I don't know of a way to export that. Also I did not find any expansive documentation on it. It is fairly new after all.
