Cross post from the blender master thread I have been working for a while now on an upcomming tool called Pin & Relax for TexTools which is started to mature recently to something productive. It unfolds and Pins selected edge loops into straight lines and relaxes the rest of the UV island. Similar to Headus UV layout with…
Hello All, One more very small Maya script. I couldn't come up with better name for this tool so, i currently named it as Vert-Edge Connector. I used normal connect tool, but it's connecting with the center of the edge selected. So, i come up with this to connect straight. use Enter into Multi mode so you can select both…
Or you could have a "latest used libs" dropdownbox - like in 3ds max the latest used files :D or maybe the feature, that the folder-dialog (where i select the lib) starts at the latest used directory.
@Render if its not already implemented could you do a snap to pixel center function for finished layout, (selects all vertexes and snaps it to a pixelcenter given the dimension of the map) (input height with button output -> snapped)
Haven't delved too far into Maya yet, but the smart symmetry looks rad. I had to watch the loop and ring selection a few times to see what was different but it looks pretty handy too
ya when i get time again thinking of a few new features as well. Such as haveing it automacally setup the debugger in maya for using breakpoints and when sending singal line selections have it normalize the indents.
good idea although I think you can do it by making the selection in the UV editor and then popping an edit poly on top of the unwrap modifier without dropping out of subobject mode - it definitely works on faces at least
Hi, this question probably doesn't fit this thread too well, but I don't think it justifies a new thread. Does anyone know of a script that aligns an object to another based on their selected vertices? In the example above I know that the two selected vertices on the light grey object should be on the same positions as the…
I made an add-on for blender that rotates selected geometry around the Active Edge (the edge that was selected last) and makes a corner based on the angle of rotation. https://blenderartists.org/t/angle-tool The way it works is based on a trigonometric formula. Here's a link to the very first inkling of the idea I had a…
