Thats cool adam =), just finding the scale and materials a bit hard to read from that pic. The leaves seem really big and i think the stone materials don't really tie together, they could probably use some work.
strange how so many people are making sick motorbike poses lately this is just something ive been fucking about with. I kind of like it but it's also kind of raging me hard
Ha ha, the Airborn bug has bitten morte :P Looks solid man, only thing that is bugging me just a bit is the hard lines around the cheeks (more so under the eye)... but pfffttt, looks sick either way.
you should do some life sketches, fruitbowls, cups, etc. work less with hard lines, and more with messy sketching of basic forms and shapes, once you've got your flow down for big masses, then start learning to sketch the details.
Testing the hard surface sculpt in zbrush, if normals turn out ok, I may do some more in the future. If it doesn't look convincing, this one will be my first 3d print, of course after i've finished the arms and made a better face.
haha yea I guess it does. I think the brick sorta fades from light to dark When they are together the seam isn't bad, but when its just by itself its hard to tell that it kind of gradients. I officially withdraw my comment.
hey. thanks. will noodle about and sculpt up some legs. if i find something i like might maybe hard surface it. is really just an exercise though. what's there now is just above 500k base : http://www.orderindebris.com/misc/mechBust_3.obj
Neoxx that is very cool. Came across this photo in one of my ref folders (I have no earthly idea where it came from) and thought I'd try to remake it in 3d for practice. Hard to tell what's goin on in the ceiling so I had to fudge some stuff.
don't get down on your self. hard surface modeling is definitely not an easy thing to learn. Be sure to check out Racer's awesome tutorials... http://racer445.com/ - if your still learning, check the very first one - Intro to Sub-D Modeling Good Luck :)
nice Virtuosic. love the eyes moving can I ask what setting you used to output that for you tube. mine are looking reeally awful in comparison. been working hard on my hand painting techniques fair bit still to go more detail and tweaking overall
