You're almost there. Just learn too work with less geo especially when blocking out or defining form/s. EDIT: Plenty of examples populated throughout this thread, in fact the very first post illustrates a low poly approach.

Hi there, you were right, there's an option, you can split at half the extreme polygons on the hole, and then add divisions (I did to level 1) here´s what I have: With more divisions the model gets smoother. Hope it helps
Model it flat and use s bend tool. In this case (no pic for a while ). You model thr big shapes first. Add divisions. Build the middle shapes and if the mesh cannot divide smooth enough with the subdivision you have.try to divide it again.
Not wanting to sound like a parrot (probably am one already), but look back in the threads and you would have found the answer(s) to your problem (there are flat surfaces you can simply terminate the edges, make an inset of the loop, etc etc).
Yeah I knew they were actual holes. Like Mystichobo said, they'll bake much better like that and I wont have to use 1000's of tris on the low poly to create the holes. Wouldn't really see them anyway in first person.

I think when you got 2017 you must've checked the "Please destroy my anus" box in the installation wizard. Jokes aside, why hasn't 17's instability been addressed yet? Does Autodesk even know they own 3DS?
