model Giving a try at some hand painted textures, as well as some practice making usable models out of my concept sketches. Painted on model in blender, I suck at picking colours and I have a seriously inconsistent shading, but its a start.
If you're painting such a texture, in the end you should go back and clean up details pixel by pixel. Things like gradients in the shirt and such can be painted, but you can get that much wanted crispness of the belt loops and the irises only if you pixel them.
Hey guys, this is the final model, im a bit tired of moving and moving so i finished asap to start to paint which is my focus. At the end it got less tris. Thanks gilesruscoe for the tips! As soon as i finish the painting ill post it again.
First post on this forum, made this a few months ago to try and learn hand painted assets, its been a challenge trying to paint stuff from scratch and get materials looking right but a great learning experience, any feed back would be appreciated.
