@Micah: Glad u like it. Mybe I'll try to make some more some time :) @Tigerfeet: Yes I do mean 4-sided polygons. I'll edit the entry tomorrow giving you guys some detailed specs...but now i'm tiiiiired :poly125:
Funny that you mention it, but this is for a TD game in unity lol. Though, I am having to code it for a final project :poly127: Luckily we are keeping it very simple, and only having 4 turrets and 3 monsters. I will post those when I get them done
Looks cool as heck, NoisyMonk! Did you think of making the legs 3 sided rather than 4? You might be able to make the outside of each leg flat (without the middle seam, I mean), especially if it's going to be small and fast in-game. [edited for poor spelling]
Hey guys, i'm totally new to this forum, actually this is my first forum. I've been trying to learn 3d modeling, starting in blender for about 4 months now. I wanna show you the first model i've made that i'm actually proud of. 954 triangles.
hey All! Im a Long time lurker, first time poster. Im new to the whole 3d art world, but I find it more and more fascinating with each passing day. Here is the first model Im willing to show off. It is a coffee maker. Cant wait 4 your crits!
ahh ok haha I was racking my brains of how I could do it, for the blade I have used 4 tris (plane with two polys) so I could use symmetry for the texture. The handle is 3 sides as well so maybe xaltar has a magical way :D!!
johnnyhr, sweet painting work. :) wanted to start getting my feet wet with a little bit of lowpoly enviro stuff, so I did up a stone wall (haven't done the end caps, though) diffuse and spec, 90 tris (the shot is 3 or 4 wall segments lined up)
Working on a christmas themed side scroller for iPhone. Here are 4 of the houses that will be tiled over and over again (randomly placed). Ingame view: There will be some christmas lights placed as well, just haven't added them in game yet.. You cna see an example in the 3ds max render 3ds max render:
Yes! this breathes atmosphere! The 4 caracters share the same feel. Love the detail in the semi "minimal" textures. Already done some envirionments? curious about the atmosphere in the scenes. The "white" parts of the animal-like creature are suposed to be grey right, to cut down the contrast a bit?! keep us updated.…
Guys, I was wondering if you know what amount of skinning influences i am allowed to have for ios games made in UDK. as it is now i have 4. it looks perfect in the animset editor but when i start the game in iphone mode the skinning is all funky and ugly.. any idea why?
