unfluffybunny - It looks like you used a whole lot of dodge and burn there. Without an imaginary light source, it generally looks flat. Mop, good point there, I suppose I'm just making more work for myself eh?.......d'oh. It's the whole 'working big to get the detail in there' versus 'it's all going to disappear anyway when it's reduced' thang. Love your landscape BTW, wish I had your confidence with the big brush.
that rocks hard boskma. The robotic eye looks like it should come out though, rather than be inset into the skull. Im also not quite sure what purpose the whole in his hips serve... On a side note, might I suggest robotic limbs. A robotic hand or legs or something and a pirate hat.
my first try on doing characters, It's not the best but I'm try. All are under 500 poly and 128 color texture each. glow texture on bender and transparent texture on fry's hair. still a wip...I'm working on making the whole scene...inside the building. ship and the outside the building. More characters too.
my sorry excuse of an attempt at the whole 3d workflow. http://dreamers-ink.ca/gallery/albums/3d/fullrigtest/feliciawalk.avi Waiting for free time so I can fix the shoulders... and it's totally for fun at this point so before anyone gets too serious with their comments. Constructive comments still very welcome tho
wow DP, you're improving quite a bit. Reminds me of the kind of paintings you'd see on a church ceiling. Why limit to only 32 colors? Not sure if I like the color of the background on it, makes the whole image seems a bit monochromatic. A more contrasting color would help the figure stand out more.

[/ QUOTE ] I'm definately going to do that, I've been listening to the once upon a time in the west soundtrack for the whole day now. I tried to create a skin- and eyeshader. It's kinda harder than just painting low poly textures, I miss the direct…
Made some progress on the sexy, deadly and nerdy Shirow chick that I am working on... I could use some tips to spice up the hair a bit. There's something not right about it yet but I can't put my finger on it. Same for the shading of the face. Here the model of the whole body...…
Wouah Sama that looks so much better than anything I've seen from you! Great start! You might want a bit more contrast on the skintone - and by that I don't mean adjusting the whole thing using brightness/contrast in Photoshop, but instead adding some very localized spots of brighter color ex where the meet, on the forhead…
Scott: Both of my monitors are at max brightness and all i can see is black and some very dark greys. Cain: draw him a female gargoyle! But be careful hes very picky about the style he models.... Cheap: Whats with the hardon there? I dont really understant that.... Is it so you dont have to animate it? Just have it errect…
