Coming up with a pretty neat workflow for placing hair cards for realtime chars. Beats the hell out of hand-placing in maya or modo. End result is kinda cool. It does clock in at 1k tris for just an eyebrow, pretty ludicrous. Pretty fun technique though.
Hey there folks. Long-time lurker here. This is an anatomy study I'm working on. Still needs a lot of work (like on the hands, for example) but I'm pretty happy with how it's turning out. Planning on making a low-res version of it later to use as basemesh for future characters.
Loving all the sexy guns lurking in this forum. Great work Polycounters! Getting started on the materials for my classic 1911A1 and I'm real happy with the progress for the hand guards. I'm getting the hang of these Substance Designer procedural materials! WIP post & progress shots to come :)
This is a WIP sculpt I am doing for Pascal Blanche's character design online course at the GNOMON school. Still work to do on the details and hand holding the ax, as well as dealing with the fibermesh for the hair. After finishing the course I will also do a real time model.
