Painted my 3d printed Minotaur. Left the high poly sculpt and the print on the right, its about 8cm in height. It was printed upside down on the back and took 5 hours to print.
I've begun adding harsher forms to the face to make him appear a little more hardened and tough. I've decided against making him a Sheriff, now he's an outlaw. Cooler, right? ;)
Working on this at the moment. Still far from finished texturewise. Need some text on the front and back cover, as well as a worn and slightly torn sticker on the right side of the case. [SKETCHFAB]85784a4a343f4d52a5d9301b5bf09c07[/SKETCHFAB]
Just did a big character art dump from my time at Wandake. Here's a few samples: Check out the thread right here! http://www.polycount.com/forum/showthread.php?p=2246775
Now this is a nice page of art you all got going on right now. Spent my holiday working on this suit for my cyborg lady: http://www.polycount.com/forum/showthread.php?t=145608
Test render of a CG Dalek Model i've been working on for a while, Still needs some tweaking to make it look right. Anyone got any tips on making a good lighting set-up?
Adding little details. Looks a bit fat right now, I'll go back and work on the face sculpt some more later. For the body I'm thinking of making a costume like that of River Tam.
Certainly on the right track! Im assuming youre referring to Fanny Vergne's tutorial in Vertex, perhaps chamfer those edges a little more. Also, try making a brush/mask with "bigger" shapes/forms
Rubus: I used this video as a reference for having it on the right side of the hip: [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=94c88HfACfQ"]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=94c88HfACfQ[/ame] Although I'm not completely sure about that choice, maybe it would just have felt more right to have it on the left.. so to say. :P…
