DmitryGrebenkov -> Great work, and I agree really pretty face. Continuing my BTTF series, Here's Griff, the big bad brute / bully from BTTF 2. Sculpted, polypainted, posed and rendered in Zbrush. Zbrush render passes comped in Photoshop.
Made some changes to Finn to better reflect how he looked in the film. Filled out his face a little bit, darkened the jacket and skin, scaled the lightsaber, and played with the spec and gloss a bit. View my artstation @ https://www.artstation.com/artwork/3brB2
Bill Lumbergh very nice speed sculpts, their faces came out great. codyaq2 your expressions look very realistic, great job. Here is a bust of the Sasquatch it is based on the Sasquatch done by Marc Silvestri for Marvel comics. It was rendered in maya using VRay.
From my thread: Seems like all I've been doing lately is hair. Couple body changes to this as well. Face looks plastic, needs more spec breakup or something. I'm setting up a gumroad too, for this sort of stuff: www.gumroad.com/ysalex
@ TomGT : I really dig that Mushroom Golem. Decided to push this a little further and have the spiders coming out of her face. Played around with the crown a bit.... I suffer from pretty intense arachnophobia...so this is pretty much a nightmare to work on. more soon.
Gave the USR Brawler for Fractured Space a little facelift with a new panel texture, face weighted normals and small spotlight decals. Now everything's finally to the same level of quality :) Concept by Benjamin Last with adjustments by myself. All asset work by myself. Rendered in UE4.
Hi guys! I'm new here and I'm so impressed by your projects! Awesome work everyone :) YBourykina, I love her face shape - so elegant! jhoythottle, cool project! I'm looking forward to the next update I'm working on this Assassin's Creed Fanart at the moment.
Work dump for a character I've been working on and a crosspost from my thread here: http://polycount.com/discussion/160570/character-help-modern-celtic-hero I'm looking for feedback on the head sculpt as I'm having trouble getting the appeal that the drawings have. The face that's giving me trouble :)
Just uploaded my illusion face to thingiverse: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:705665 As you can see in the video it works in 2 ways, light shining on it from the bottom and light shining through it from the back, like a lithophane effect. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3_YqGBlCFZM[/ame]
@Sir-Lucius Looking good dude! The contrast on her face (maybe just the texture?) is a little too hot and seems to crush all your lights and darks, IMO. Working on bringing Alucard into the current gen, and practicing a full game-ready workflow. Here's where he's at so far: and a shirt!
