You have to make sure to go to the animations menu set and from the "skin" dropdown menu, you smooth bind the sword to the hand bone on juggernaut's model. Make sure you also export that bone along with the model to .fbx.
Getting some progress on the Kunkka set, this rigging is hard! Hands and shoulders to go, then to touch up the textures and rigging and of course the masks. This is always my least favourite part as you see your work get destroyed by the texture size.
chest items aint in store? not even later? well on the other hand makes perfect sense since valve wants to sell keys. if i can get the same item as in the box for under 2$ why buy a crate key.

I'll write a tutorial tomorrow so we can gather all the awesome advice and help you guys have provided in this thread! I like the design. May want to change that sharp part that faces the handle; I wouldn't want to use a weapon that has a sharp blade angled towards my hand like that. One wrong move and you've impaled yourself on your own weapon.
Uff is right. He must use his hands for walking. U know, i have seen King Kong sev weeks ago, take a look at his animation. I think u can do something like that, but with some stylized polishing.
Anyone know why all of my imported Juggernaut items are offset by a small amount? You can see the gap between his mask and his neck, and that his sword isn't held in his hand. Everything's in perfect alignment with the decompiled SMD file :/
i imported my fbx into the client but i can't seem to get the reflections and shadows right are there any tips? i used a blank normal map but i thought if you just did a detailed hand painted texture, you could get away with it
hey guys, I started working on an item for rubick. Any crits would be greatly appreciated! also.. I hate normal maps. So it's all hand painted so far.. I know it's ok to use a flat normal color instead.. but still..
