Well if you fill as much as possible the UV space that you have with the model that you are unwrapping, then you can use a higher detailed texture map and that will give you a much better looking model. The more the UV space your model occupies the more texture density you can use.
My grandfather flew photo-recon P-38s over occupied Italy in 1944. He retold his story to a gathering of aircraft owners and pilots. It starts here: [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mmVzFOw500I"]David Toomey - Tall Tales and Vapor Trails 1/10 - YouTube[/ame]
I tried touchpad and it was a pain in the arse, slowed me down about 10x and is just frustrating. Last time I tried doing anything on a laptop on a train... there's usually not enough room to use the mouse unless you're lucky enough to be on a train which has tables, and those tables are not fully occupied...
if you want it to tile then each part of the mesh you want a full tile on, must occupy the entire UV space from 0-1. Say you want this brick texture to tile once on the top of each of your rampart bits. Each of those square pieces should occupy the whole of the UV layout from 0,0 to 1,1. You will have many stacked shells.…
Mark I listened to the same parts yesterday and yeah it would be easy to get around all this and I'm concerned with the overall bullshit that goes along with this like the loss of free speech, more govt control, etc. What is there to prevent someone using clips from say Alex Jones, with the Occupy movement, other news…
If I wasn't spending so damn much money on twin turbo soarers I would have waited out for the Samsung 275T (27" @1920x1200) with the CCFL backlighting. I just bought a Samsung 215TW the other day and it's hotter than co-occupying a confined space with Scarlett Johansson. Seriously it's that good.
http://i.imgur.com/kifiZNK.png Theres a link to the Soviet T-34-76 tank that I have been working on for a school project. I know its still not perfect, but it is on it's way. Add some things to the front hull or the sides to occupy the space, as in tools or more cables. That would be my suggestion right now.
Sure they need to be punished, and I think that having them work to leverage jail costs is a good solution. It's also definitely a good thing to keep prisoners occupied too, because it reduces violence. But not in the current situation: the money doesn't go towards the state but to corrupt officials instead, and the amount…
18 is far too many. Most terrains in UT3 as an examples used around six textures total. The trick is in how you handle your normals and specularity. The limit to the number of textures is 16 - however around 4 of these are occupied already by stuff the landscape does behind the scenes, so you only really get around 12.
entertainment industry usually sees a rise in sales and income during times of recession, look at it this way, if you were a parent with a wife and 2 kids, what's cheaper, going out of town for a weekend or going to see a movie? Vacation or a couple games to keep everyone occupied for a few weeks? Sure there are layoffs…
