Ben ... Maplet is REALLY old and extremely clunky. You're probably better off with something like UnrealEd (export to T3D) or Hammer (export to MAP) if you're looking for simple BSP editors. -

Oh wow, fantastic work on the metal. Only recommendation is where you have those circles (where it was hit with a hammer probably), just fade out part of the circle into the rest of the metal. -

Not a bad start! On the head of the hammer, try doing some edge work. If you make the edges a bit lighter, it will read as worn off edges, or light hitting the edges, or a combination of both.
