longer shadows and zwebbie struck gold...for me it feels mostly like somewhere in the uk during roman occupation, but if so, where the fuck has that sand come from, swap it for watery mud puddles and dirt caked walls, then i think the roman celtic thing would be relatively sane
OK, so the level is of a mountainous landscape which feature old WW2 bunkers which have been abandoned by the original occupants. Some tribal people found them and have moved in so the bunkers will have colourful flags and banners on them. I am using as much of Unity out of the box as possible and modelling assets in Maya.
I have to say, I like the paint over glottis8 did. I like the warm tones. It gives the space a feeling being in a foreign, dangerous place, as if you're on a ship that is on a runaway collision with a star. So the danger isn't just in the potentially deadly occupants, but just being on the ship when it hits the star could…
Toasty, I would rethink the cherry blossoms because I immediately think Japan, not China even though they do grow in China. "However, the most famous cherry blossom parks in China reflect Japan's brief occupation of parts of China during the first half of the 20th century or the donation from Japan thereafter" (from…
Hi, Robota. It's kind of hard to troubleshoot this issue without having a look at both the low and high poly models. My guess is that when you exported the meshes they weren't ocupying the same space -- in other words, they were not inside each other; or they were, but the low poly was not covering the high poly in those…
Fuzzy dice and a flame job is all it needed, the "Fear This" sticker was really way too much there, notman. :poly131: Interesting factoid, HUMVEE's are designed to have the doors blow off so the pressure wave from an IED / RPG doesn't kill the occupants.... didn't know that 'til my buddy came back from Afghanistan with…
Peeped your ArtStation so I'm just wondering if a role in the entertainment sector (games/film) is a primary focus or possibly other industries where CG related occupations exist? If the former?! then the bar, spaceship and castle interiors plus maybe the restaurant booth as well, for me have a kind of BioShock art deco…
my second choice would be... hmmm probably an actor, or in some way being involved in making movies, or writing... with like a minor in psychology or something. but alas I make game art... my parents always remind me what a glorious occupation that is and make sure to note that I probably should go back to college and…
CGMA instructor Pete Zoppi discusses the art digital character construction for film, animation and video games. The Character Artist’s role is
rightly regarded as one of the most technically and artistically challenging in
the 3D arena. In part this can be attributed to the increasing demand for
incredibly detailed,…
Man 1: Jerome, never shy, pisses on command. Beautiful piece of equipment you've got there Jerome. I ever told you that? Man 2: Only every time I'm in here. Man 1: Occupational hazard. I see a great many on the course of any given day. Your's just happens to be an exceptional example. Don't know why my folks didn't order…
