It's not about cheap. It's about relative price: $499 US = $499 499 = $661.22 £429 = $667.78 $599 AU = $564.38 Basically, they're both (PS4 is $399/399/£349) still implementing a fuck-Europe-fee. And in terms of value: for 500 I can buy a brand spanking new PC. Or, for less than half that, a nice upgrade of the GPU. And… -

Cropped out some time to rework arttest. Remodeled some bits and pieces, rebaked and re uv'd it in a way so that I can show overtime damage in better manor than previous version. Reduced polycount from 7800 to 6637 tris. -

there is also antageo balancer http://www.polycount.com/forum/showthread.php?t=66268 it does a very nice job crunching down polies, it handles uvs very well and you can use several options to mask detail, also it can transfer the highres normals down to the lowpoly to have the surface normale resemble the highres data… -

I agree with above. I had a ATI card I believe the 5870 and I had problems with it, from drivers to just performance issues. I went with a gtx 680 and its been amazing. I think you should get either a 580, 660, 670 or 680. Just my opinion. Good luck! -
