umm mass effect and mw2 are first person shooters(well at least in part) so they are in fact easier with keyboard and mouse...well I find them easier though I do have a xbox360 controller pluged in. All other ported games Ive got seem to work fine with the controller found this on google - any help ?… -

Seems pretty solid modeling wise, The base is way too small though, If you compare the dial to the part you talk into you see that the base should be about 175% of it's current size. Chord looks too thin as well, easiest way to adjust that would just be to move vertices along normals. Good job so far! -

Thank you guys :smile: From your comments I understood I missed the point of combining everything to one mesh. What I've done now I've exported all high poly subtools (about 17M vertices) to .fbx and used that on substance as high poly mesh for baker. And that works just fine. All details and polypaint are in place. -

Expensive, these were about 250~, but maaaan, so worth it. You can find cheaper I'm sure. -

Just going back to the graphic card debate, on the German website I'm using (alternate.de)the Radeon HD 7870 is going for €179 and the Radeon HD 7850 for €149. I don't know if the radeon are good/bad but the HD 7870 has a passmark of 4,059, so I'm thinking it's good value.... ans saves me 100 over the 660ti -

You have the blue channel set to a constant value (127 or 128 ), so in the areas pointing zero red and zero green, it appears blue. The reason why is because you're dealing with a 3d vector that's flat in the depth plane, and because normals get expanded from 0..255 to -1..1. So the halfway point (127.5) is zero. -
