The objects need to be the same type afaik. So you can't mix Eg. editable poly and editable mesh. If that's not the issue I don't know - the command is new to me. You do need the unwrap uvw there first but I'm honestly stumped as to why. It was adding it fine in script here (on 2019) -

So have they actually done anything at all to improve NEX inside of Maya? It was a pain like you say activating/deactivating NEX all the time, not really a smooth workflow. Guess we have to wait for that in 2019, meanwhile Modo continues to knock out awesome stuff every release. -
(Solved) Normal map artifacts problem.
Hi! Substance painter 2017.4.1 Baked this texture set a bunch of times and still get this error. The geometry was made in Blender 2.79 and sent to zBrush 2019 for the final fbx export. I checked the model doesnt penetrate the mesh around the holes. I hope someone has some advice. Similar structure but it bakes cleanly:… -

Hiya! New to modeling but determined to figure it out. Would someone be so kind as to do a little mini tut on how to create the body shape of the attached image. @Tits - Totally right. Waaay off! @Slosh - Me neither. Check back in 2019, maybe I'll have a texture map ready! :D Gaah. Spent hours on a head that just wouldn't turn out. So I went back to an earlier save and restarted, I think her head shape is leaning more towards humanoid this time around. -

I dislike that everytime you search it clears the search filters. The 2016 online help you change it to scripting and it stays there. Re: What camera to get
You need a camera with spot metering. Try checking out camera specs over at Dpreview. Choose a camera, go to "spec" tab, scroll down to "Metering modes" I did a quick look and found this one, $109, with spot metering. http://www.dpreview.com/products/canon/compacts/canon_elph170is/specifications
