LOD0 with 512x512 test bakes (final map is a 256x512). I might remove the additional floating tail clasp thing. I really like it, but it's gonna be difficult to fit it in the poly budget even with the LOD0 :(
I'm not a fan of that monitor resolution, because you really aren't going to get as much screen real estate compared to one or even 2 1440p monitors for the same price. The comparable to 1440 resolution ultrawides are 3440x1440, but LGs costs $1,300. Of course lower resolution is easier to drive for games, but working…
Small update while I prepare my final UV and analyze my shells to save as much space as possible by mirroring any parts that needs it. *Side not imma push the rail pannels a bit more and exagerate further) Gun with all parts is 66k poly Gun without the lw rail/rail panels (biggest poly) = 22k LW Rail = 16k & Rail Panels =…
So here is version 3 (low poly model) of my 50's futuristic subway train. I realize that I did not label what was different from the early post but I will be doing that this time. I added the generator thingy to the top of the train (this will be the main power source for the rail brakes). I also added support beams to the…
If argue that part of what's working against you is the sloppiness of the textures. The chair and stool seat have deep cuts in the normals that don't really make sense. If you had a normal map with those cuts that was 256, tiled it many times across some of your materials and decreased the depth by a good margin, you might…
A'ight! I'll go back to the model and remove some geo from hidden and small parts. Will try to get the rifle+mount down to 25k. Did most of the textures in SD, so as long as I don't change the model too much, The textures will still apply.
Hi! First off, awesome work! The function looks like this: activeDocument.activeLayer.adjustLevels(0, 255, 1.0, 0, 255); Does that help? Please post some ingame shots of this when its done!!
I'm currently working on gathering materials to build myself a Reprap Prusa Air2i2. My focus will be on maybe one at a low cost that works decent enough. My main goal will be to make one for at low at $250-$300, once I get enough money and my materials I will probably document the build process on here or something. The…
If you go one step up on the newest imac configs you can get an i7 processor as well as a choice between a 1 or 2 gig HD 6970 card. You can also configure those with both a 256 gig solid state and a 1 or 2 TB hard drive together. Not a bad 3d system by any stretch. I'm currently using the same system you are looking at and…
