Anything by Tom Robbins. Kinda a philosophical novelist. Still Life With Woodpecker was the first one that I read that got me into him. I dig Dean Koontz myself when it comes to horror/thriller stuff. Fear Nothing, Odd Thomas, Watchers, Cold Fire, all good books. -
MOTO the Robot - Robot Project
Hey, long time watcher first time poster. I am an environment artist trying to work my way into character modeling and I decided to design a robot. I drew up a concept and during the process of modeling it I made some design changes. Anyhow, I am looking for some feedback and some ideas. FYI the model is not finished yet. -

Hey lotet, i've tried with the wither skin, but seemed kinda flat with the shader, so I've pumped a bit more of blood into him! XD I'll call him complete. -

Whitcher 2 has a lot of cloth like that, it does look amazing in cinematics, at medium distance it can look odd and dither, but in 3rd person it looks great again, so it depends on the use I guess :P You could just turn down the contrast on the pattern too, that'd help. -

Great update! I really like the checker switcher now, totally useful, nice work! I think the point of the relinking script was so that you could run it on a bunch of files without having to open them? I didn't look at the script but I think its been linked before. -

Ya I love my plants. All my carnivores died though. Think they got too cold. They are finicky. Looking forward to some citrus trees once we get our own place in VA. Very impressive pitchers. I had been killing flies and.pitting them in mine but she wouldn't digest them. -

Set up the buttons like Saturnfive described, and get DRaster Switcher for Max to enable Maya-style navigation - you will never look back. (this does not come from a Maya fanboy btw - I prefer Max for everything, but I too found its navigation scheme to be a problem.) The orbit option Monster mentioned is super important… -

If it's stinky, wouldn't the plant be withered and almost dead lol? Try adding some more elements to give the impression that this shoe really does stink. I'm liking the detail a lot though.
