My vote goes to Sketchbook Pro. Nice crisp pencil, blotty markers, and a fluid pen. Artrage 2 didn't feel as calibrated with the Wacom's pen pressure as Sketchbook Pro does. It is on the expensive side for what it does...since you've got already got Photoshop, play around with the brush settings and save your own presets.… -

Game looks great. The latest OXM has a designer diary called from Pencil to Pixels which has a cool behind the scenes showing some of the characters and environments being worked on. I'll echo that you'll need to have a good understanding of human and animal anatomy, grab a pencil and start drawing! Pay attention to weight and balance. Also things to consider is to learn the basics of rigging and animation, so you know how your mesh should be constructed to avoid issues come rig/anim time. -

bracer looks great, and the book & pencil sash with backpack could work..... but they miss something.... don`t know what.. ideea: maybe, istead of all those color bubles on the sash you could leave it plain with a few pieces of meat hanging from it? dont know... a chicken wing, or some sausages... or a sandwich.. -
