Thanks for the tips guys, my scene runs at a solid 60 after those changes, and it looks pretty much the same. Got the spline BPs in as well as played with a few visual adjustments.
I'm not convinced the vsync settings actually do anything on non-desktop platforms, by the way. At least on my android and iOS devices, the framerate never goes above 60 and 30 respectively.
yup nice drawing, you could squeeze out another 20-60 tris by removing some of the symmetry generated edges at the center especially inside the wheels. Don't waste the triangles ;)
Michael Pachter thinks it will shift 30 million units http://wccftech.com/pachter-nintendo-nx-60-chance-30-million/ Also http://www.digitaltrends.com/gaming/nintendo-nx-news/
thanks a ton. probably grab that canon lide soon. it looks like the LiDE 50 isn't available anymore. The 100 looks like it just came out though, and is only $60.
Was "Amy Smart" used as reference at all for the girl? She's the girl in movies like "Butterfly Effect, Road Trip, Interstate 60". Keep up the good work, keep that bar high
Done a little more with this. Still reworking a ton of this as I go. The rock walls are taking shape now that the texture is 60% there. Just starting on defining the rocks in the model and texturing the castle as well.
Nice work! Big ears and nose, thin lips, chin and rear scalp to neck look great. These features look 60 something. Skin sags and wrinkles look 40 something though.
@Blaizer Well yeah, that's simply because you're on 4k. The '60 fps cap' is mostly towards for console players, as their resolution mentioned in the video is 1440p-1800p max, and possibly not max/ultra settings
