@Sharky 3dmotive is a subscription model, according to their site plans range from $17-$22/month. I think my tutorial would really open your eyes to how VFX Artists approach work and the principles of a good effect. I'll try to remember and send you a PM when they get it live on their site.
Its not against the law to bring a child to an R-rated movie, if thats what you're saying. an R rating means that anyone under 17 must be accompanied by an adult to see the movie. Also, im hoping to go see this movie in the next week, and reading all this just makes me more excited about it.
Yeah, lol, well you can get a letter from the Queen telling you that your penis is 17 inches, and you can get a letter from the local street shop owner telling you its 3. Which sticks in your mind. Daft logic is logic to a daft person :p Quack.
This looks great! Only thing which stands out a bit is in the first gif you posted on August 17, the bit at the top of the lamp leaves a really sharp shadow that looks hugely unnatural. The rest of the environment design looks sick. Will be neat to give this a go. Hope there's going to be some really good sound design!
i did watch some head sculpts but not any purely anatomy head sculpts yet (with muscles and fats), i have been using references up until now for that.........i will look for some anatomy one's though....thanks for the advice. (17/30) got no idea how it ended up with that weird smile.
@Sebeuroc Thank you! I changed her face a bit so it is not protruding AS far =) Day 17: Just a quick update from me today as to where I'm at. She's got swords now! Modelled the sword out in Maya first, and then imported it into Zbrush. Looking at the concept they are fairly plain swords, no particular decoration.
What is downsampling in principal exactly ? And what do you guys think of this screen http://www.ldlc.com/fiche/PB00181231.html sorry it's in french but the model number is there. I'm on a 1080p 17 inch screen atm so 24 inch sounds massive to me and all the other 27 inches sounds like too much
When I started university i bought myself a Dell XPS 17 and it worked perfectly on my course. I still use it now, 4 years later, and it runs just as well. It might be a bit out of date now for Unreal and such but for the main programs i've encountered no problems. Good luck with your choice!
Days 15 to 18!! I'm almost done! 15's focus was to paint something, but do it with everything upside down! 16's focus was on something simple to block as fast as possible 17 was for buildings because I rarely draw or paint them. and 18's was simply because I wanted cake today~
Hi fellas, I faced some problem with normal maps display in viewport 2.0. This issue exists only since maya 2016 version. Turning off Gamma 2.0 helps, nm looks better, but still incorect, it doesn't solve the problem. I hope somebody knows how to fix this. - viewport 2.0 - legacy high quality viewport
