I'd second Torch on that one Toobbs. Nice sharp texture you got there as well! This looks great Malzeick, it's got some really smooth texturing going on. I was wondering what you're basing yourself on for the skin colour as the orange tinges on the skin appear to be a bit out of place for me as well as the green on the…
I think you could play more with value and/or colour contrast for details on the "helmet" part so that we see the dust/dirt more, and maybe even some details that belong in the metal! The helmet being more "monotone" than the muscles or even the jaw make a sort of imbalance in the level of detail (in my eyes at least!) o/…
@AbimaelGL Are you sure your normals/normalmap are correct? The way the inner court's roof shades looks a bit suspect, as if the normals are inverted! The rest I'm not sure about, it's a bit hard to locate the light source in general. I'd also try to fix the seams, as they're really noticeable right now Lovely colours…
model progress gif, highrez and stuff on artstation: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/Z9yNG a collaboration with Tamas Sarffi ( https://www.artstation.com/artwork/OzL58 ) who made the model aaand its based on Jan Unolt's concept! ( artstation.com/artist/janunolt ) @"zug zug" cool! love the handle on the spear!…
Hi, here's some more props. I made the bowl in the same style, it's not based on something in WoW, but based on the pot I did earlier (bottom left). The apple is a WIP, but pretty colse to completion. I might should have spent more uv space on the top part of the bowl rather than the bottom, but I can always rebake the…
Hi all, loving the hand painted goodness on show here. @ANTONIONEVES The consistency throughout all the textures here is awesome. Great palette choices. @87ROACH that golem character is sexy ... in a handpainted fashion i mean. Low poly game character practice from me. This lil guy is called Looty. Already posted him in…
Looks cool! I like the slightly boxy art direction and how it gives certain elements a pixel art kind of look. I remember the first Gaben Helm model you did for Quake 3 back in the day. You've certainly come a long way since then! :) I think the saturation levels look good for the most part, but I would add some color…
Here's a low poly hand painted Tesla inspired spaceship I made for a scraped sci-fi space shooter. I've included a Sketchfab viewer link. My first time ever dabbling into these awesome 3D viewers. So neat! Everything is on a single 512x512. There is also a specular and glow map shown in the shots here, but you can turn…
A lot of people use projection painting software like Mudbox or 3D Coat to paint over the seams, as its less of a ball ache then doing it by hand in PS :D However, you still need to remember to hide your seams strategically, e.g. where natural cloth seams are like on a top where the arm sleeve is sown onto the torso area.…
So much good work here lately! @DrHide That looks great! I used to play secret mage, I always loved that card art :) @riwer3d The patina on that axe looks amazing :open_mouth: I also love the subtle specular detailing. @Rendz those textures look great! I love the color variation on the roofing tiles and the stone tiles. I…
