rendering out larger isnt something i do all the time, but it can help if you have really fine details that arent showing up quite right, or are getting poorly anti-aliased. Not sure what you mean about 75% ? A 512x512 is actually 1/16th the size of a 2048x2048.
I think it's more with the resolution. You can probably run it with 360 specs, but at the lower resolution it was rendered at (I believe it was rendered at 1024x576 or less, then upscaled - like Halo3). When I compiled this I worked in '3995 by 3000' or so resolution to get good quality made edits, resized, blah,blah,blah... It is now: '1680 by 990' resize it yourself. Sinz_Wallpaper EDIT:UPDATED
