Cmon folks, you don't really think that with the vast amount of PS3's and Xbox360s in the world that aren't connected to the internet that either company would make their next systems require an online connection?
@ng.aniki Right I get you, so if it actually would be connected like the panel with the buttons, it should be connected rather than separate. Ok that helps alot! shall get cracking :3
@Revel, select 2 vertices and use "connect" (and bind the connect function to a key, time saver :q ). You can also use the cut tool at your own risk (it's not always precise)
Thanks everyone... I just found the problem and it was vertices not connected. Once I connected the vertices, swiftloop worked. Rookie mistake, but at least there are people like you guys to help me out.
since he said "just don't connect" I guess you could take it as barely not connecting hence a single 0 in the middle, still no clue what the second and fourth number would be
Won't help if the connection I'm currently on is slow. Tomorrow I'll be home and should have a fast connection again. I'll be hosting the tutorial on my own hosting, with unlimited bandwidth.
you should try and model an entire human, because most muscles of the torso connect to other bodyparts(pecs to arms, lat to neck, abs to legs...). And understanding these connections is essential to building a human sculpture.
On a side note, using cut to create extra vertices and lines that you might not see, it's happened to me enough. Using connect is a better option as it can only connect with what you have selected.
I did tried to do exactly what you did, but the "Multiply" node that was connected in the distortion is not possible to be connected in Shader forge. Here is what will happen: Author of ShaderForge says refraction needs vector2.
I'm putting this thread out of its misery. Miami Connection is the film. Watch it. It'll change your life... okay maybe not. http://drafthousefilms.com/film/miami-connection New film coming up...
