I wish the shadows had a slight bit of purple to them... and that they weren't so 'fuzzy' http://www.worthplaying.com/press/199/MOTOGP2006_024.jpg That shot looks wierd... look at how dark the shadow being cast by the rider/bike is... yet the riders themselves are barely casting any shadows.
I had a quick go, I think it's going to take a bit of time to get completely used to the game. I found this guide here http://www.fpsadmin.com/download/details.php?file=113 that gives more info on classes etc, worth a quick read as the game is not as simple as BF2.
I can't go this year but I may in 2016. AFAIK nobody has ever answered the "what pass?" question. GDC seems really expensive, quite possibly the most expensive expo in the CG industry. GDC All Access: $1,495 Main Conference: $995 Bootcamps: $795 Expo only: $195
anyone got a direct link to the debut gameplay trailer? thats under 200 meg? Gametrailers ain't working for me, my internet has slowed to dial-up speed, dont ask :S. EDIT: Ok this seems to be the 195 meg one on gametrailers, its in .flv http://www.mininova.org/tor/1547710
AFAIK the pose and postures don't work on Bip01, you will have to do it by hand (or using other 3dsmax tools). Work down an axis (probably her facing +Y), which I think is a 90degree rotation on Bip01. Then, just work off this as your main axis... if the rotation is 103*, the inverse would be 77*.

looking to buy bump map generation software, have used Crazybump and Knald, but have come across Substance Bm2M 3, so was wondering if anyone had used both or could list off some compariisons? and what are the differences between the £89 version and the £139 versions of substance bm2m3? many thanks
One really nifty feature in Krita is the wraparound tool, makes painting seamless textures easy. You just press 'w', then enable open gl in settings to visualize the repeating effect. I had been doing this previously in blender. http://krita.org/item/196-new-wraparound-tool
You can read about it here from post #113 http://www.polycount.com/forum/showthread.php?t=128126&page=5 Most probably this guy is a common scammer and there are no bots. Even if they were at the end things are accepted by Valve alone, so number of votes don't matter so much.
You might find this tool helpful. Not only will it detach faces, but it will clone faces off an object as well. I've been using it for about 20 years. DUPExtract https://youtu.be/O2mK7I1Errw?t=113 It comes with a whole suite of tools. Something like 50 or 60 at this point I think.…
