Short answer: You can't. DynaMask is how you adjust masks in DDO. You could paint details in PS using a new layer and then transfer that painted detail to DynaMask using the "Paint Mask in Photoshop" option, however. thanks guys so I decided I'm going to try and match the skin to a render, something that I did to try and achieve the "look" of. Also if you bake your normal map fine, your AO will be bake fine too. You can render ambient occlusion using transfer map in maya or you can render ao on mesh itself with mib amb occlusion shader not sure how its called? from mental ray texture bake set :poly121: -

I was at the same point when I started my HK416 (though I never made a realtime version of it). I just made test bakes to see if the highpoly edges transfered well into a normal map. All of these three versions work. On the first one only the softest angles are a bit too soft (to me). Version two looks nice. -

SSDs are 2.5x faster than HDDs for most uses, including booting/restarting your computer, transferring files, opening large files, opening applications, etc. It'll constantly save you 10 seconds here, 5 seconds that, less time waiting, more time working. If you are going to spend $1000, it's definitely worth getting one. -

Most pre-rendered images like in film/cinematics use mostly unique uvs to get rid of repetition as it isn't as much an issue when it comes to memory limits. Also composite/mix maps dont really transfer over into game art that well. You can either blend by using vertex colours or by using an alpha map. -

QFT. After making myself work out some epic floor layout from scratch, figuring the least amount of modular pieces required and trying to transfer it into 3D I sometimes just start bashing my head on the monitor after 2 hours and come back much later than if I just paused for a few seconds. -

Hey, did you figure this out? Its difficult to know what you're asking. Ambient Occlusion is the natural shadow between crevices, it isn't a shadow cast. You can use a multitude of programs for bake ao. Xnormal or Maya transfer maps are typically what I use. Xnormal is free. What program do you want to use? -

You could do a slight bounce to transfer the momentum, have him actually go into the ground and get stuck before popping out, a stumble, an overhead slam so he lands with his fists, a roll... Action for coming out of the portal, some flourish or dispelling of energy. Think of it as a magician…
