Well, the color is also the power. The bitmap's colors multiply against the default white specular. The darker the color, the less specular you see. So if you put the same bitmap in both channels, your specular is going to be twice as dark. AFAIK specular power can be calibrated quite differently between apps/game engines.… -

i don't recommend going with dell, they're somewhat poor quality, my wife has one and she's had hers replaced a few times till she got one that actually worked and had all the specs she actually ordered. The levels of pressure sensitivity isn't a big difference. Intuos have 1024, graphire's 512. 512 is plenty, you still get perfectly smooth brush strokes.
