Hello everyone I recently got into the game industry in a AAA studio. I went through some tough years but after lots of hard work I finally achieved my goal. I want to help other people struggling with getting into the industry. A mentor definitely helped me, so I want to give back. My question is, what would you be…
If you bake a hard edge without a UV seam you will ultimately have an artifact on that area as a line between two faces is more precise than the amount of pixels you have in your texture. it has nothing to do with the cage. You might get away without an artifact if your UVs are perfectly horizontal or vertical but thats…
do i really love my wife, or do i just force myself to love her? what a dumb question. You commit to something, you commit to it. If you are burnt out, take a break. Time heals everything. maybe you aren't improving as fast as you hoped? and it gets you down? feelings come and feelings go. If you get upset because you are…
We’re looking for a Product & Growth Lead to join our team — someone who can help move our projects from creative development toward validation, strategy, and launch. We’re a small independent team working on several game and interactive projects. Some of them are still in early concept stages, others are already in…
I assume this long triangle shading gradient isn't in hi poly mesh . But it could be if its sub-div model . Most probably although it's low poly model . Easy fix would be just fixing vertex normals/ split normals or whatever they are called in your software. Here I fixed the gradients by just putting Weighted normals…

Hi, we are a group of friends working on a story driven adventure. The story is inspired by true events based on the life of a puppet master in the state of Rajasthan, India; revealed through a puppet. What's the progress? We're currently at the start of the project. We have laid out our basic game mechanics and we are…
Is there a convention for when you should model all in one mesh and when you can have different objects? For instance, when you have a complex model and you need to make a sphere from some random place and it will mess your topology. Do you figure a way to arrange the vertex or do you create a different object and place it…
AlexandrL Thanks ,its exactly what I asked about because I often can't make it work at all or even export from Designer. Only something very basic . Any custom node, pixel or value processor and its almost zero chance . For your case it just follows basic logic : zero in no, one is yes. The rest is UI decoration.
