Love these concepts! If I wasn't so busy I would totally love to work on one. And don't worry about anyone stealing your concepts, a lot of us will crack some heads for ya if something winds up in the shop without you knowing :D That said, you should totally doodle up some Medusa or Disruptor ;)
its going to be pretty big mabey the total diameter of the dome is like 2240 unreal units wide, but its also going to where the player can view it outside and on the inside of the building so I dont think flipping the normals would work this time, but I totally see why you would do that in any other case.
I've seen 3 of those meshes up close and personal. They're very nice. The Rayne head is my favorite. Though, I'm not sure if she did the Rayne body or not, because the Rayne and Aeon bodies are totally different in terms of modeling style. The Aeon body was better IMO. Other than that, the HellGate London chick is totally…
Bitter disappointment indeed. I was totally looking forward to all that promised goodies that comes with it, for example creasing + adaptive subdivisions (with Vray3.0 that supports opensubdivs) to make really nice edges, keep meshes rather low poly but looking awesome smoothed with efficient subdivisions. But now from…
I don't want to be that guy but, how do they keep the peer reviews unbiased. I mean in a perfect world everyone would totally be objective and the payroll would scale to match but surely even in a place like valve there will always be those who don't get along and would totally flat out lie or give unfavorable reviews in…
@AgelosAp - I don't blame you one bit for wanting to Raiden with that pun... not even sure if that works... Anyway, thank you! I totally agree with all your points. The slimmer waste is a good catch and I think it will add a bit more character. And thanks for that guide, I totally see what you mean with the curves. Awesome…
[ QUOTE ] did she say "osama people"??? anyway that statistic is totally false. what are they surveying babies now? a stupid question gets a stupid answer, what else is new [/ QUOTE ] actually, that statistic is totally true!!!1 here, have a go at it yourself: Correctly point out the United States on the following map: 1…
Meh. The first thing that put me off was the accent. And the Devil May Cry transporting glowy markers are totally weird. I've never played a Prince of Persia game and this trailer isn't really doing anything for me. I appreciate that there are people that like it though. On a side note, the girl's top looks totally painted…
That's not entirely true because i love both games. I have played Total War since very early on but i also play FPS, RTS, RPG everything really. They do not cater to a totally different audience but you right about the console, i think you will have much more leeway there since not many console gamers know of CA
All of the shader source is still included and totally editable. It takes a bit of familiarity with Unity's surface shaders and Cg/HLSL but what you describe should be totally doable. Take a look at the included documentation, Documentation/Shaders.txt: As for Strumpy support, I took a brief look at integration early on…
