I think this is something we are going to do. It might be done through a script or separate GUI to not clutter the main functionality, I need to figure out what would work best. This is further down the list after fixing all of the bugs we have found and addressing the more serious usability issues.
Ok. I have been sorta distracted working on some Zbrush scripts but I think i addressed some of the comments here and did a detail pass over everything. I think I am about done with the sculpt?! And because the arms sorta get in the way a screen shot without the arms...
bumping this. While I have no problems with smoothing vertex normals my colleagues might like to have smoothing groups to work with in Max. Is there any way to export them? I use SP5 and tried to use both Export as standard dialogue and export as a layer script with smoothing groups turned on. But no luck yet.
ya i prefer just linking directly to images and using the back button. Always works even if scripts are blocked, just works better and lets people view the images how they want, can either click images than go back, or people can middle click them into new tabs.
yeah with nitrous enabled in shade mode it is really hard to see which is flipped and not. In dx mode you can see clearly. Thats a nice idea Eric.]Is there a script to flip all the normals in the same direction even if there are faces flipped in the wrong direction and some in the wanted direction? Edit: Nevermind found one
If anything puts me off a portfolio, it's one of those effing 'plug and play' script galleries. Do yourself a favour and jusr don't use them. The best websites always have things like simple thumbnails which link to larger images. Quick loading, none of the annoyance, works across browsers.
I'm really looking forward to this film, it could be really good. I agree that Tarantino's films can be hit or miss at times, but I think he's actually improving, and I've heard people say that this movie has his best script yet. Plus, an awesome cast. I've got high hopes.
Hey there is some good ideas there, I'm really use to Blender and I don't have any problem with it. One of my favourites with bforartis is the icons bar like Maya. There is a easy way to bring that to normal blender, is just a script that i can borrow to use in blender official or its more complicated than that?
edge split modifier, it allows you to have hard and soft edges in blender, throw the modifer on the stack, check off marked edges and uncheck angle. Than start makeing edges selections and hitting control+e and selecting mark sharp. or us a script to marke all your UV seams as sharp.
There are just no specular affecting props at all, have to make better presentation. Also i'll suggest to change image sliding script, this one right now dont allow user to save something to PC without dirty tricks. Also sign your images, so person that downloaded it will know, who they belong to
