Round 1: I bought Super House of the Dead Ninja and Fortune Summoners! I decided to not be a game player. And just a game collector. I wish to just look at all my installed games and grin at my loot, and then laugh at you peons for not having as much as me. -

I really like the mod, texturing and most of the animations. The only things that doesn't work for me are the death animations. Unfortunately I don't know much about animation and can't really tell exactly what is wrong. But if it feels wrong to me, it will feel wrong for the player too. -

Thanks everyone! :) Here is how I made the trunks. I have a vertical seam in the trees but they are so high up so a player wouldn't really see it anyway and the displacement kind of hides it well. I went with a if its not a problem why spend time on it approach hehe :) -

As much as making stuff be 100% accurate would be a fun and excellent learning experience, making stuff that looks amazing (while not over the top) and that sells well to Chivalry players is probably the main priority. Money over everything =/ -
Re: Post process inside geomotry?
The only thing I can think of is post-process volumes, but that requires the player to be within the volume. Another way (I think..can't remember) is to exclude certain objects or materials from being affected by post-process. Other than that I think it's all up to the materials. -

Fighting game characters get pretty high poly though as there's not a lot of extra detail they have to render besides the two players. I guess if he's a "space battle character" maybe it's just going to be him and whatever he happens to be battling noodling about in the void of space. -

I definitely got a mirrors edge/mass effect vibe opening this thread so nice work! I can't tell the scale too well here though - how close will the player get to the buildings? its it just a cg kind of piece or will someone be running around? -

COD borrowed from Band of Brothers, Enemy at the Gates, Saving Private Ryan, and several other movies. Still, a very good game, and the multiplayer maps are wonderfully designed. So how is the multiplayer in Brothers? Single player just loses my interest, no matter how good it is. -

tim: ECE has three new vehicles, new onslaught maps, plus re-jigged ONS maps to support the new vehicles, a couple new player models and other stuff. haven't seen what yet, cos i just played a couple ONS matches...
