Maya seems a lot more evil in corrupting files than Max ? In max i'm pretty sure 99% of the time corrupt files have been because Max suddenly crashed on me, not when I was working totally legit with no problems. I never had the "open it next day to find total corruptness" thing.

Sorry, I totally meant "ear" pad details. For the arms though I think in that case maybe put the pockets a little in more? Maybe he isn't totally posed yet but it arms don't seem to be resting in the pockets or relaxed at all as if the upper arm is holding the lower arm up against gravity, basically not at rest.

Total vert count right? After everything has been broken apart, heh. Remember smoothing breaks, UV and material seams can double vert counts along those edges, shaders and other junk can ratchet up the total vert count once in game above what max or maya report as the welded vert count.
