FYI for future posts, "In need of some guidance..." is not very helpful as a topic title. A better one might be "(Unreal) Poly counts for realstic 1st person game?" It's not a big deal or anything, I just hope this helps you for future posts!…
It seems that the engine can detect the LODs but it doesn't swap the models even if I change the LOD ratio. This only happens if the cgf has sub objects. Here's the max source of the model: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/63166765/LOD_Debug.rar any help would be appreciated.
Haven't really been keeping up with this as much as I'd hoped, but it's been busy animation times for me! I'm going to be putting together a demo reel to apply to studios soon, so I'm prettying up some of my completed animations. Here's what I got so far, rendered with camera and lighting: [ame="…

Looks like the model doesn't have smoothing groups applied, or else has broken vertex normals. Fix this and re-bake. Also, it's generally best to embed your images directly into your posts. One less barrier to people seeing your images.…
Hi Neox, I'm glad you like it. The ability to remap right and middle click is already included in the next version (i.e. you click on a button on Toolbar Creator and your pen now acts like it's rght mouse button.) That was actually a request from someone using it in ZBrush. I completely understand what you mean about no…
It's best to put the software name into your thread title, so people who know that software will be drawn into your thread. http://polycount.com/discussion/63361/information-about-polycount-new-member-introductions/p1#use
