nice idea throwing in the pink on your diffuse to get some differing colors in your scene, it worked out well given the lighting and saturation. It seems like more than anything this scene is missing is some really nice darks, but thats just my two cents. I love it so far -

That lion insignia looks like it's 90 degrees counter-clockwise to what it needs to be. If the hammer is held with its stock perpendicular to the ground (the way it would be held ready to attack), the insignia as is would face thr lion's nose toward the sky, which isn't verry cool looking. Just my two cents. -

Donate if you can. Servers for downloads cost money and Ryan is super humble about the whole thing and never asks for a cent from anyone. We all yelled at him in hangout to put a donate button on the site and he finally gave up and put one up. Reward his kindness imho! -

Yeah, you can do that too. But that only works for some of the repetition. If you have large areas to cover, it gets inefficient to use many meshes. You can also add detail meshes like grass, small rocks, etc. But again that only works for closeup distances. My 2 cents. -

If you can get cinema 4d I would go with that because it has bodypaint built in. That alone is a great skill to learn. Just my two cents. Before you do buy make sure it's legal and real and not some scam. Make sure they are not selling the educational version some vendors will do that. -

well done! i think the scene could use some more ambient light. nvm the sun, since its up there in the sky, some amount of light will come from anywhere, including from below.. and softer shadow would work better with the whole hand painted theme, my 2 cents. -

From what I know you have to press alt and left click and release to choose the area from where to clone. Been a while since I used it. One more thing to take into account is the layer you want to clone, making sure you have something on it. My 2 cents -

Good job on the studies :D For your sculpts I would recommend staying at a lower resolution to get solid base forms down before trying to add in any muscle detail. Perhaps try to really understand that your putting muscle "on / over" something. Just my two cents ^^ keep it up!
