I think the key is the difference between photo ref'ed and photo sourced. Even the places that want realistic textures don't want it to look like a quick photo sourced texture. Any env artist worth their salt will take care to remove shadows and highlights from any photos he/she is using. removing the obvious lighting… -

The bricks to me look more like glass tiles to me rather than bricks. I think it's the combination of the thick bevel with the bright highlights that is really standing out to me. You need to work on the trees to get them to feel more like jungle trees, don't forget vines and jungle ivy to spread around in your scene to make it more lush.
