dRaster Switcher works great. Been using it for the last 4-5 years and has never let me down. Actually, I'm hoping they update it to support 2013 because it works much better than 2013's Maya mode. -

If I ever have interface problems I just go to 'Customize' and 'Custom UI and default switcher' and revert to the default UI, make sure that beforehand you save any preferences out and shortcuts etc, you'll then have to reload them -

Looks pretty simple to my jaded movie-watcher eyes - they slapped Brad Pitt and World War Z onto a standard action flick for the name recognition, looks great from the suits' point of view. -
