this is for udk but it might give you an idea of the concepts to apply in your engine of choice [ame=" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B2sl4nxSeqI"]UDK Ocean Shader Tutorial - Part 1: Setup and Foundation - YouTube[/ame]
Please have SSD caching. Would love to see something like Intel optane (or StoreMI, the AMD version). And hopefully HDR 4k support will be standard on every game (with resolution scaling/dynamic resolution of course).
I don't think you're too far away from the design, not with the hood anyway. Maybe try to add some ocean themed things on shoulder maybe. But I like the design overall it's very cool^^
I would buy a place relatively inexpensive for permanent residence on the Ocean. Then, I'd surf everyday for the rest of my life. Then when out of season. Buy a world trip ticket and surf the world like the endless summer!
@snefer : Indeed that's a good first step! :D :D :D @Danr: That sounds legit! @Shrike: Indeed we are all! and i'll just jump into the ocean and hope that they can take me in as a Jr and pherhaps learn more! =)
the metal isnt very convincing, looks more like concrete with the spec cranked up. tone down the normal bump on the metal a bit, it looks like its been coroded after sitting in the ocean for a few years
About 4 days ago my best-friend did something for me no one else has.. made me feel complete. I got on one knee, right on the edge of the Pacific Ocean, and she said yes Beautiful vacation it was!
[ QUOTE ] I'd strike Final Fantasy X and Star Ocean 3 from Sonic's list, both are nice but too flawed to be called "must haves". [/ QUOTE ] How so? I could possibly see that with SO3, but FFX?
Hell yeah man :D One of the best renders I have ever seen in the CryEngine. And you made a perfect model to fly over an ocean :D Keep doing what you are doing. We like it :D
The colors you chose for the first image create a beautiful contrast with one another. Also I love the ocean. :) I'm curious what your workflow is for your normal map creation for the sci-fi panel? Great work!
