Finally I managed to make a proper render. I really wanted to fake a scene with a background, but not sure about the end result. :susp: What do you think about it? Should I put it into my portfolio? blackkeys25: I know, I still couldn't fix it. It isn't caused by the UVs I tried to modify it but no change. But at least…
I don't get it. Why did these boss based tough guys fail? Everyone was singing their praises a few months ago and BOOM gone. Was it because the director fellow returned to the games of epic proportions and everything fell apart? Or was it really because of the frozen game's overwatching fellows are saturating the market's…
Im having massive issues with AMD cards in UE4 atm, especially with dynamic lights.....I know this is for painter, but im guessing you dont JUST use painter. Id like to echo what the guy said above.....in my experience, either Epic or AMD cards are fucking up hard somewhere atm. Just to add, i have a 970 with the second…
If you want to show off some epic assets, I would go with UDK or CryEngine. Theses engines are the best choice for visual IMO. Unity is less prefer because it is more programmer-oriented engine. Still, it's very open and flexible, but working with it, you have to have programmers with you if you want some advanced features…
@ Edrice : Thanks for the paint over. I get what you mean. I made the hands a little larger. I was going for small hands but I think they were a little too small. Thanks again. Made some small changes. Much happier with the face now. Also changed her name a bit. Might tweek the feet a little and play with the boobs…
I'm a BIGTIME premium statue collector and this is EPIC! What is the scale on this guy? is he 1/4 scale? Unfortunately, I know what custom pieces like this cost so I will probably pass but if you want, I can link your images in a statue forum where you might find someone who could pay top dollar for this. They would…
Sounds like textbook japanese company enviroments, something that drove a lot of my professors and teacher to utter insanity. It also sounds a lot like what the Taka Kawasaki of Epic Japan said in an interview, that even if you work in a job in the gaming industry, that should have a feeling of creativity, spirit and fun…
Our booth was right next to this thing at GDC, so I saw a couple of pretty epic falls. One dude did almost a full front flip when he stopped abruptly after running full tilt. There were a couple of real douchebags running the display, though. One dude spun the thing hard after a kid got inside, making him fall pretty hard.…
S2Engine: yes the player is 96 units and everything is designed for that. Hmm, I do agree that I have some spaces that are quite cramped, but I also kind of liked the contrast between small spaces and big open areas. I'm still working on lowering the camera a little bit as well to make things more epic. marq4porche: Very…
i personaly love the fixed camera, althought it as its downsides it improves gameplay a bunch adding more suspance to what comes next, is there an zombie in the corner or im i safe. i was a bit desapointed about RE4 because its not survival/horror is just another action game but whit zombies. @Mark Dygert: Dino Crisis was…
