I think that's a slightly different matter t4paN, Larry David being jewish and all.. anyway since I'm not religious I couldn't care less, just reporting the way it appeared to a first time watcher
Make sure "Keyboard shortcut override toggle" is on. It's the square icon with an up arrow right before the Snap toggles. If that doesn't work you can go to Customize > Customize UI and Defaults Switcher and pick Default UI.
You can use this: http://www.scriptspot.com/3ds-max/scripts/bg-switcher Pretty cool and get's the same result. I use it to feel like I'm on another package while staying with the tools of 3ds Max.
"I was thinking about learning character modeling to become "future-proof" but with MetaHuman who knows if that's even worth pursuing..All that work I put might be irrelevant in 5 years, hell maybe less." That's not how things work though... NPCs in a game requiring believable realistic characters are not individually…
This one. Its super useful, probably the best thing you can do. all the other stuff together is not even close to getting some awesome youtubers/twitchers playing your game.
hobodactyl; strange, ctrl+alt+mmb works fine for me with default settings... on a side note, I bought the switcher plugin from digitalraster (3 months ago), so "problem" solved
Hey everyone, long time watcher, first time poster. Trying to finish up some of my models/textures. Any advice on presentation or content would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks all. Much more to come. I'll think about adding a color switcher for those who think it's too bright for them. Personally I like it and find it easier to read and see the images but I understand it's not for absolutely everyone.
i find that switcher from draster is a nice tool to get the basic handling streamlined. even if there's still some things to work on, workflow got much better. watch the videos on their site and you'll see. and yeah, nex is nice too. ;)
