That chart absolutely makes no sense to me other than Artists work hard and get paid less than your programming or pencil pushing schmuck. Bachelors or not, the skills need to be there, for any job. It's common sense. If you suck at flipping burgers, then you're not going to flip burgers. I wouldn't come to conclusions…
thanks pixel, I had to get rid of the big scratches in the end - wasnt quite the damage they were looking for but it was easy to change in 3dcoat just a fun sketch, 1 or 2hrs or something. Also been doing alot of anatomy practise in pencil in my sketchbook - havent been bothered to scan or upload that stuff in a long time.
A little more progress. I'm painting at 64 x 64, I love that pencil tool. I messed up my texture with my actions since it was saving it at 88x88 instead of 64 x64 so I fixed that. I think the practice is paying off. Let me know what you think. Alex
Hi all! I'm updating my portfolio site and want some hard critique. Except for some pencil drawings, all work was made in the last 6 months. Feel free to comment on anything including the work itself, the layout of the site, loading times, resume, etc. Thanks! here it is: www.technodookie.com/bear/
Well, following your advice, I filtered the search results to ''animation'' with video only...and there's really not much to see...The level of submitted work is abysmall compared to what you see for still artworks... I'm not asking a for finished work, maybe just a few pencil tests or rough...

It's a pencil. Coming up next, a notebook. I'll take my awards now, thank you. And I'll ninja the notebook in there too. No need to bump thread for that. Well, that is everything player needs to get from A to B. Everything except the map. But I wait until I get back to my home machine for that. For now I move onto the…
Thank you! I've actually been watching all his videos. He's just too pro lol. I'm considering buying a Wacom Intuos4 tablet but thought I'd better improve my pencil drawings and sketches before spending good amounts of money on something that won't exactly get me anywhere without foundational skills.
@AlexKola thanks! Yes I started with a paper/pencil sketch, that I put on top layer in multiply mode, I since then cleaned out the sky tho. A bit more backstory? A wizard in his tower above the forest is having trouble with his experiment, the marten is looking back at us like, oh lord... he's at it again... Cleaned update:
